Prateek Shrivastava

Prateek is a practicing Patent Attorney in India. He is a qualified Electronics & Communications Engineer and an Advocate registered with the Bar Council of India. He is an empanelled Patent Start-up Facilitator under the Government of India – Start-up India Intellectual Property Scheme (SIPP) and has an extensive Intellectual Property experience. He specializes in counselling on protection and management of Intellectual Property Assets.

Prateek has represented clients from sectors like Information & Technology, Electronics, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and recognized universities and professors/scholars from universities such as IIT Bombay, NITs, BMJ Munjal University, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) Mumbai, St. Peter’s Institute of Research & Technology, PSR Engineering College, ABV-IIITM Gwalior to name a few.

Prateek has also signed MoU’s to foster innovation and create an IP ecosystem in India with institutes and Incubation Centres such as Nehru Group of Institution – Chennai, Symbiosis Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Pune, Gwalior Smart City Project, ITS Engineering College – Greater Noida, AIC – Birla Institute of Management and Technology, MITS Gwalior, ITM Gwalior, PSR Engineering College, Ramrao Institue of Technology (DY Patil University), Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Nagpur to name a few and many more are in pipeline.

Prateek is a regular speaker at various IP forums which are including but not limited to Cell for IPR Promotion & Management – Government of India, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology- Government of MP, various incubation centres, and Technical Universities in India. He is also an IP mentor to various Incubation Centres and Technical Universities in India.

Prateek is also a member of esteemed International and National organizations such as International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), Society of Automotive Engineers India, and MSME – Start-up Forum. He is also an empanelled legal expert in a committee formed under Government of India’s KAPILA scheme by MITS Gwalior, ITM Gwalior, and Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) Mumbai.
